Year 5 had a fantastic day at Butterlope Farm on Thursday 5th October. Activities included feeding the chickens, learning about different breeds of sheep and understanding how hay was made in the olden days. Annie Mullan and her team also taught us how to plant garlic, do river sampling to identify water species and compare hedgerow, field and bogland environments. Jumping in muddy puddles was great fun too!!
