In preparation for Advent, our Year 4 boys and girls made their own Advent wreath. We all headed down to Little Learmount on a cold and crisp Thursday morning to gather our evergreen leaves. What a fabulous resource in our school grounds! We found Holly, Laurel, Ivy and Pine trees with berries and cones.😁😁 Later, in our classroom we all added our evergreen leaves to the oasis circle, popped in our purple, pink and white candles and created our Advent wreath. We are all very proud of our creation! It looks fabulous. While making our wreath, the boys and girls learned all about Advent and had some special and beautiful ideas about how they could prepare for Jesus’ birthday. Well done children. 🌟🌟🌟
