This morning staff and pupils marked the start of Lent by joining in Mass in St. Mary’s Church Altinure. We thank Fr. McGavigan for coming to school after Mass to distribute ashes and talk to the children. Pope Francis has asked that we join together, as a school community, in prayer and fasting for peace and reconciliation in Ukraine. Our Lady Queen of Peace pray for them.
