Year 1 have been learning about 2D shapes and their properties. To consolidate learning, pupils made a square and a circle using Izak9 cubes. Year 1 were split into two groups and were timed on how quickly they could put the shapes back together. They displayed great teamwork.
It took the Tigers 1m 25sec and the Cheetahs 2m 4sec to complete the square. Both teams were super quick at building the circle, Tigers 44sec and the Cheetah's 1minute.
Some boys from Year 6 came to help us build the Izak9 cubes back into the box.
We learned a lot about how important it is to work as a team.
