Pupils and staff of our school continue to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Yesterday we recalled the wonderful times we celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’ in school and all the fabulous tributes and fun we had. Unfortunately we couldn’t have our special guests with us in person but the boys and girls still celebrated their amazing grandparents in many different ways in each class. Lots of portraits were painted, stories told, songs sung and poems recited!
What a wonderful gift we have in our grannies and grandas! The children talked and chatted with so much love, admiration and appreciation for everything they do for them. The love, wisdom, concern and treats certainly do not go unnoticed!
We ask God to bless our grandparents here with us, and those in Heaven with God. May he keep them forever in his loving care. Amen.
