Congratulations to our P7 pupils on receiving the sacrament of Confirmation today. They all looked fantastic and were a credit to their families and school for the reverence that they showed throughout the ceremony. May the Gifts of the Holy Spirit be active in their lives and be their helper and guide in the years ahead.
A special mention to Anna who was very much in our thoughts as she joined us online from home and has her special day to look forward to in the near future. Heartfelt thanks to: Bishop McKeown for the beautiful and engaging ceremony; Father McGavigan for his weekly visits to the classroom throughout the year to help the children on their faith journey and for his help with the preparations for today and Miss Kealey and Leona for the beautiful music and singing.
The pupils were delighted by the surprise of an ice-cream van arriving after the ceremony, thank you to Father McGavigan for organising this. We hope that all families enjoy the celebrations afterwards.
