“World Book Day” celebrations were in full flow in Altinure today. Year 2/3 completed a Word Hunt where the children looked at a variety of books to see if they could find the words on their worksheet. Book reviews were complied using Just2Easy5 in Year 4. There was great enthusiasm adding pictures, voiceovers and QR codes. Year 6 returned to where their love of reading began, looking at traditional fairy tales and their features. They then constructed a mini saga in 50 words on their chosen traditional tale. Year 7 explored the theme of friendship and feelings through the reading of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. They then created their own sayings and illustrated them with the characters from the story. Some used Jit Paint and J2easy5.
