This afternoon, the children in Year 4 and Year 7 took part in a very special activity with Charlotte, our Faith Formation Coordinator. It was an Easter workshop called ‘Cloth on the Cross’. The children decorated a white cloth with Easter symbols and words. This white cloth represents the cloth that was laid over Jesus in the tomb and the same cloth that was left in the tomb after Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. The children created a wonderful array of images and writing. This beautiful piece of cloth will be draped round the cross during the Easter ceremonies in St. Mary’s Church, Altinure. Well done boys and girls. Thank you to Charlotte for her continued support and everything that she does for the children and staff in our school.
