Our polytunnel has arrived and we are all so excited! Olive has been planting vegetables and flowers with children from all classes. Primary Five pupils learnt how to prick out beetroot, leek and lettuce seedlings that had already grown. They used pencils to gently loosen the soil around the roots and then lifted the plants gently by their seed leaves. It was so enjoyable! Hopefully they will try out some gardening skills at home too!
