Today, four of our Primary 5 pupils accompanied Mrs Redmond to a special Mass in St. Eugene's Cathedral to mark the beginning of Catholic Schools' Week. At the beginning of the ceremony, pupils carried artwork to the altar which represented the theme of Catholic Schools' Week, Alive in Christ. Bishop McKeown spoke beautifully about the life of Sr. Clare Crockett. At the end of Mass, we were gifted a beautiful candle and a liturgical calendar to bring back to school. Many of our classes also attended St Mary's Church, Altinure today to remember our beloved Father O'Connell on the first anniversary of his death. We have many fond memories of his goodness to us in Altinure.
