On Thursday 26th January, Mrs Redmond and four Primary 5 pupils attended Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral to mark the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme is ‘Catholic Schools, Walking Together in Faith and Love.’ Amy drew a beautiful representation of St Mary’s Church, Altinure which was presented to Bishop McKeown during the Mass. The pupils back in school were able to join in with Mass on the webcam.
To celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we will have a special celebration for Grandparents on Wednesday 1st February. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend a special assembly at 10.30am with refreshments to follow.
