As part of Maths day, we completed lots of practical Maths games this week. Year 6 were exploring Pentominoes and were challenged to use their 12 pentomino pieces to make a rectangle. Not as easy as it sounds!! But eventually through hard work (and a few tips) the pupils found the solution. Year 5 had great fun in Little Learmount, searching for right angles in nature. In year 7, pupils enjoyed completing challenging shape and sudoku puzzles.
