What a great first day back for Year 2/3. The children went on a minibeast hunt to Little Learmount. Year 2/3 enjoyed the fresh air and getting up close to nature. They were encouraged to use their observational skills and they got the chance to be hands-on with wildlife. By using our minibeast spotter sheet the children ticked off the creepy crawlies they had spotted. We discovered how minibeasts live in all sorts of habitats. Many prefer dark, damp spots in gardens and woods so Little Learmount was the perfect place to start our hunt!
