Year 2 had a 'special visitor' Mrs Muddle from a local bakery (Miss McKinney). Mrs Muddle had got her cakes in a muddle and asked Year 2 to use their mathematical skills to help solve the problem !
We worked together as a class to begin sorting the pieces of cake so that they had the right amount of cherries on .Then the children went off in their groups to finish solving the problem.
