Our P7 pupils have taken part in their first workshop with Sinead DevineDEEDS - Dementia Engaged and Empowered Derry & Strabane.
This is such an exciting and very important opportunity for our P7 pupils.
During the first session, the pupils developed their awareness of Dementia and things to consider when in the company of someone with Dementia. There were lots of thought provoking discussions, with many of the pupils talking about their own personal experiences of spending time with loved ones who have/had Dementia.
We are very excited about our next workshop in November and will share our news about it with you all then.
