National Poetry Day was on Thursday of this week and pupils were introduced to various forms of poetry. Year 6 looked at odes and wrote some absolutely super odes dedicated to their favourite confectionery. They’re creativity was outstanding and certainly made the taste buds tingle! Year 4 had lots of wonderful ideas for their ‘Autumn Simile’ poetry.
