Our Primary 7 pupils attended their Confirmation Retreat today as preparation for their upcoming Sacrament on 26th March. They had a very fun-filled and spiritual day which was excellently facilitated by Charlotte and Father McGavigan. The day began with active warm up team games. The pupils then took part in group activities where they drew images of God and used materials to dress up one of their group members as a Gifts of the Holy Spirit. They had to name their Super Hero and explain how each part of their costume was linked to a Gift of the Holy Spirit. The pupils’ ideas and creativity in this task were very impressive. Following this they were treated to a beautiful lunch. The afternoon was very reflective, where they explored the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, wrote prayers to the Holy Spirit and celebrated mass.
This was definitely a very memorable and significant day for our P7 pupils and we would like to say a big thank you to Charlotte and Father McGavigan for making the day so special. Enjoy looking through the photographs from today.
