What a day of celebrations our P7 pupils have had! The day began with a lovely gathering out on our pitch where Mrs Redmond presented the pupils with their Records of Achievements and Alice, who has been on their journey with them for the 7 years, presented them with a special gift from the school, which was a mug with the school crest and the class names on it.
This was made extra special as all pupils in the school assembled socially distanced on the pitch to give each P7 pupil an individual round of applause.
The pupils then thoroughly enjoyed their special dinner in 'Altinure Restaurant', the video attached definitely captures the children’s excitement! Thank you to Nuala for providing the special menu and to Teresa and Marie for their help.
In the afternoon the pupils signed each others school shirts, stopped at the Grotto to say prayers and had lots of fun in Little Learmount.
We hope that the boys and girls enjoyed their final day as pupils in St Mary’s PS Altinure. They are a fantastic group and we will really miss them. They will always be Altinure pupils! We wish them all the very best of luck for the future and we really hope that they come back to visit.
