Our P7 pupils had such a fantastic day yesterday as they worked alongside adults with dementia and their carers. This was a very special and enriching experience for the children and the adults as the engagement was so natural and free-flowing.
The pupils worked in collaboration with their adult to design a mini portrait and fact file. They had lots of fun and laughs together during the art activity.
They completed the session by having lunch and a chat.
Our P7 boys and girls will remember this special day for a long time and we know that the adults also had a fantastic day.
