Our P7 pupils began their project by learning about Potential and Kinetic energy. They then watched a video clip of the world’s highest rollercoaster, which definitely got their adrenaline going! They then worked in groups to plan and make their rollercoasters, taking gravitational force into account.
In their next lesson they were able to use their previous mathematical knowledge of time, distance and speed to measure and calculate which marble travelled the furthest distance per second.
The boys and girls definitely had lots of fun learning during these lessons. Well done to them all for their fantastic work.
