Return to School Information

30th Aug 2022

We are looking forward to seeing our pupils from Thursday 1st September.

Class begins at 9.20 sharp and all pupils will enter the school grounds through the same gate, to the right of the school reception. (The left gate which was open due to Covid regulations will no longer be used to gain entry in the mornings.) The right hand gate will be unlocked at 8.45am and pupils are asked to enter the assembly hall via the side door and wait there where they will be supervised. Teachers will collect pupils from the assembly hall at approximately 9am. Any pupils who arrive earlier will be asked to wait at reception. (No pupils should arrive at school earlier than 8.40am as they will not have supervision.) Any pupil arriving at school after 9.30am will be marked as late on the attendance register.

Parents of new Primary One pupils may enter the school building via the side door and walk their child to the P1 classroom door if they wish. This arrangement will continue until the end of September - by then, pupils should be well settled at school. Primary 1 pupils will go home at 1pm for the month of September. They will have lunch or school dinner before they go home. Parents are asked to collect P1 pupils at the right hand gate at 1pm.

The two o'clock bus will operate for P2 pupils from 1st September and for P1 and P2 pupils from October on.

The school day will end at 3pm for P3-P7 pupils (not at 2.50pm as during Covid regulations). Parents collecting pupils should use the right hand gate. Pupils getting buses will leave the school playground via the left hand gate.

No breakfast club will operate in school initially- the Education Authority will only provide this service if enough pupils use it. More information to follow.

Fruit and milk will be available to pupils who wish to purchase it at breaktime at a cost of £5.00 per month.

We will soon get used to getting things back to normal again!!!

Enjoy the last day of the school holidays!
