Thank you to Laura, Una and Sean who came to our school today, on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, and led us all in a very special Rosary Procession to honour Mary our Mother in the month of May. A pupil from Year 4-7 recited a decade of the Rosary each and pupils from P1 to P7 all joined in the responses while each class took turns to follow in procession behind the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. We ended our rosary procession at our special grotto where the boys and girls from Year 4 laid a flower at Our Lady’s feet. These children had just made their First Holy Communion at the weekend. We all sang ‘Lady of Knock’ at the grotto, led by Keela from Year 4. Our morning ended with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. It was indeed a very reverent tribute to Our Lady and a very special occasion for our whole school community!
