Sadly, we said goodbye this week to the wonderful Ms Ciara Herron, one of our P5 teachers. Ms Herron has worked part-time in our school for the last four years and she was always caring and supportive to all. She was committed to providing excellent teaching and learning experiences for her pupils and she will be sorely missed by staff and pupils alike! Ms Herron had a great passion for the environment and we were delighted when she kindly presented our school with two apple trees, as well as other goodies. We are looking forward to planting them in our school grounds! Good luck in your new nursery post, Ms Herron, and please keep in touch. There will always be a welcome for you here in St. Mary's PS Altinure!!
