Our P7 pupils thoroughly enjoyed using the Izak 9 cubes during their problem solving lesson today.
They completed two group tasks: arranging the digits 1-9 in alphabetical order in the Irish language and building a 3x3 magic square.
There was lots of great teamwork, determination, perseverance and healthy competition on display.
They completed the lesson by working as a class to rebuild the Izak 9 set. There were huge cheers when they realised that they had beaten the previous P7 record by building the set in a very impressive 3 minutes 50 seconds.
