Well done to all of our Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils who took part in the Virtual Cross Country competition, organised by St. Patrick’s and St Brigid’s College Claudy. Our Primary 5 pupils ran 1 km, which was 8 laps of our pitch and our Primary 6 and 7 pupils ran 1.2 km, which was 9.5 laps of our pitch. Even though it was tough going at times, especially considering the elements, they were all full of determination and successfully completed the race.
It was mucky but it was fun!
Thank you to the PE department in St. Patrick’s and St. Brigid’s for organising this event and giving our pupils the opportunity to compete during these different times.
