Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to every person on this planet asking us to protect the earth ‘Our Common Home”
In Year 2/3 we discussed how we ourselves can help repair the earth with our hands. How we can change and make a new start, beginning with our own classroom and at home. By turning off lights, reducing water waste (especially now with all the hand washing) and recycling. By taking simple everyday Eco actions we can care for our environment. The children made their own handprint with paint in different colours and attached this to their world to represent their pledge to protect our common home.
