There was great excitement this morning, when Yr. 2/3 visited the school’s pond. We worked together in small groups, pond-dipping, to see if we could find any life in the pond. We found lots of creatures, and really enjoyed the opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. Finally, in groups we created a ‘Watery Scene.’ Our very talented artists made drawings of the pond life they observed. It is such a joy to see our children exploring the world around us!
